Enough Already!

This sounds VERY similar to the church I used to belong to, which is why 
I left. I'm glad you wrote this because if clarifies what I was trying to 
say about a pastor's opinion and how far do we have to go to obey it.

The church I used to belong to was even stricter than what you mentioned 
above (chocolate, Pepsi, etc.). Wives were not allowed to sit with thier 
husbands in church, and we WERE NOT permitted to date! My wife and I 
couldn't talk until we were engaged to be married!

I'm saved, but this is all a bit too much for me!
