Now, this situation is not rare. In fact, I know of a very similar
situation
of 2 other churches in the same town not to far from here.
One church calls the other one names, and refuses to fellowship them.
I am also positive that it is happening in many other churches, states,
>>> etc.

I have seen this several times. In Ada, Ok, where I go to collegel at;
We Have the independents fighting the whole UPC and the Aholoso church
(ACI)about 2 miles from ada, we have the UPC fighting the others, and the
Aholoso doing the same. THey all dislike each other with a passion. The
independent (Akernites as I call them. They were disfellowshiped by the UPC a
few years ago. Why I have not quite figured out.)) have disfellowshiped me
since I did not right out and come join them. THe local UPC sort of puts a
cold shoulder when I have attended their church because I have attended the
others and chose the Aholoso church over theirs (the UPC) for when I am at
college.. THe Aholoso will fellowship with me but doesn't like the fact that my
home church in MCAlester, Ok., is a UPC church.
I wish that all could get along together, but that is going to take a miricle
from God.

>>>>UPDATE:
It has been brought to my attention from a saint at this other church
that their pastor has backed down from many of his previous stances and
views in the past few months. He is in their words, easing
up on some of his harsh views. God is answering prayers and I am for
one eager to see the results that are forthcoming.

I am glad to see that miricles can still happen and that people can come back
together to fellowship again.
