Praise the Lord brother,
Jerry Jones addressed this at General Conference this year. He said
that he has seen "holy laughter" and considered it a blessing of the
Lord, he just didn't build a denomination around it.
I believe that it is a feeling of such pure joy that expressing it in
laughter is a just a reaction. I do believe that Satan also has a
spirit that could duplicate the experience. If your focus is anything
except fellowshipping with God you are in trouble. Laughter is not
the end, it is not even the means, it is just a reaction we
sometimes have to the Spirit of the Lord. I would never encourage
anyone to pray with the express purpose of laughing. We are feeble.
We do not even know what we should pray for. (Romans 8) How are we to
know what blessing the Lord will give us.
Keep your mind on Christ. If you laugh - praise God. If you cry -
praise God. If you intercede of worship - praise God. He is the
reason we do what we do.
God Bless You,
