A common problem

The following comments I would like to reply to:

Come on now....
First of all, this was not written in a juvenile way. I would not
of wrote it if I had not felt it was something to discuss. I feel it is
a problem that needs to be discussed now, right now while we are
in the midst of the endtimes and God is looking for not only those
that are saved and preach the truth, but to those who have unity
with their brothers and sisters and not strife.
I wrote the post out of a *burdened heart* and people are taking it as
if I am out to draw blood with this other church. I knew it would
cause some to lash out at me but it is something that needed to
be said. I used the two churches as an example. NOTE HOWEVER,
that I have nothing against anyone in either church! I am friends with
people in both churches! I said that the pastor of the other church did
a good job preaching when I visited
The main point of the whole post was over the fact that one church
preached out against another one and disfellowshipped them. THIS IS
WRONG! **NOTE** I did *not* at anytime name this other church, I did
*not* at anytime name the other pastor. As you have seen from other post
here, this could of been any church within the UPC or any organization
for that matter!
Once again, I posted it because it is a burden in my heart to see these
two churches unite and put aside their trivial differences, *if* there is
any.
I asked for opinions on the situation. The best I have heard was to
pray, and fast about it. Other opinons I heard talked about sweeping the
problem under the rug. If you keep sweeping it under the rug, it will
only
grow bigger. I kept the identity of the church involved quiet since I
know
how harmful that can be on a reputation. BUT to keep the problem quiet
and not offering solutions is not helping the church, the UPC, or our
preparation for the second coming.
