Whats wrong with Tent crusades ? Setting up a big grill on the side,
and inviting all the local choirs on down to light up the sky is a
real exciting thing. You can still "rent a tent" as far as I know.
In the summertime ballgames can qualify as youth (or worse, sports
nut) ministry :)=20
Your pastor might even consider holding church out there every other
week in the summer, weather permitting. That way when you put up
walls, the neighbors will not be completely robbed of hearing the
message they might never hear if its up to them to get INTO the
building.
