Enough Already!

It seems that everyone has had some experience with these "overly
demanding" pastors. This is the point I was trying to make several weeks
ago, but apparently I didn't explain myself much.

I received answers such as "You're supposed to obey them that have the
rule over you."

While I agree with this point, my question was, when does their rule
begin to be overbearing? Now, it seems that I'm not the only one that
feels that way. I don't want to say people in those churches have not
been enlightened, but it's really sad what some of them have to go
through.

Conversely, we don't want to be in a position where we are too loose
either. I know of some Apostlic churches that teach unconditional eternal
security (please comment on this)...which basically means once you are
saved, there is nothing that can destroy that...even living in sin...

I know one of our Bishops teaches that doctrine, and he has a very large
congregation (4,000 x 2 services). I can't understand why he still has a
position within the organization, but I'm not sure of all the facts
(please don't use this as an opportunity to criticize the PAW...overall
it is a great organization).

Let's just pray for our leaders that they obey the Word of the Lord and
lead God's people in the FEAR of the Lord...
