Spitual warfare is very......what can I say......if God does not call you
to it
it can be devastating......what a lot of people don't understand is once
you start it ON YOUR OWN DESIRE ...you must keep it up.....least a
spirit of deception gets a hold on you.

If God calls you to prayer over a situation and you war in the
spirit....then
you have His protection.....it is when you challenge Satan....that he
lures you into a trap.

Praying about a situation....and going to war over it ...is two different
things.

This thing of prayer is beautiful, but know where you are in Jesus,
before going to war.

> I'm very sorry if I sound disrespectful, Lord knows, I don't mean
>to be, but I find it hard to believe that the enemy would set himself
>up for something he knows he can't win. Yes, the enemy will tempt

Sis Laurie,

One temptation is to have toooooo much confidence in the flesh.

When we have just won a victory, we feel confidence in the Lord, but
sometimes that confidence transfer to " What I did" and in reality all we
were was the
conduit, the power flowed though us to the problem, and we actually did
nothing but allow ourselves to be used.

But when the spirit calls us to prayer, war if you will, and we respond
"Oh, the GLORY!!!! and it is great. And you know how YOU feel when the
spirit
is calling us to prayer.

I learned a long time ago that when I felt a very slight depression, that
it was God saying PRAY. God deals with us each differently, and you
might feel God's call to prayer, a little different than I do. Never-the
-less He calls.

Laurie, I am no picking on you, but I know three dear ladies, who decided
to go to war with the spirits. At first they were very victorious and
won a lot of battles.

The trouble was the grew weary of warring so much and when they let
off......
well all three are out of the church now and going Charismatic.
