A careful search of the Scriptures reveal that they do teach eternal
security, but it is neither
        1) unconditional
        2) individual

In every Scripture that refers to predestination or eternal security, the
Bible uses plural pronouns or grammar that refers to a collective body,
rather than an individual person.

In the Old Testament, the nation of Israel was predestined by God and God's
people, regardless of how deep in sin they were, were still the chosen
nation. However, individuals such as Ahab, Korah, and many others received
the judgement of God.

Likewise, in the New Testament, the collective body of Christ- the Church-
is predestined to be in the Rapture and in Heaven. The Body is secure- but
individuals within the body are only saved to the extent that they stay in
the body.

Furthermore, as individuals, our salvation cannot be taken away, but we can
give it away through our actions. We are eternally secure- but not
unconditionally.
