Bearing Arms

Hi all,

	I would like to know what are the standards of UPC when it comes to
bearing
of arms/weapons. I could vaguely remember my Sunday teacher telling me that
it isn't
right to carry weapons. Over here in Singapore, all males will have to do
military
service which requires carrying of arms. One of the religions here that
forbid their
members pledging their allegiance to the country as well as bearing arms is the
Jehovah Witness. Where is our stand? This is something I've always wanted
to know.
BTW, when this issue came back to my mind, my pastor has already gone back
to States
for a month. He's the only home-grown UPC around in our church. 8) So I
thought this
subject would be appropriate in this mailing list.
