Not everybody on this list supports Microsoft.  I have no intention of
starting now.  I do not run Microst software on my machine.  I run
Linux!  Its free, and it works better than DOS, Win95, or NT.  The
downside is that it is not yet totally ready for public consumption.
In other words, it can be a pain to install, upgrade, or manage, until
you learn the ropes.  The documentation is all on-line, and so a
certain level of computer competence is assumed.  It is not yet at the
plug and play stage.  

If you are interested in taking a look, or trying it out, it is
available by HTTP, FTP, or NFS from ftp://eli.wariat.org/pub/linux/, 
so point your browser there and take a look.  Since it is free, you are
encouraged to treat yourself to a free copy of anything you find there.
