Our manual has a section in it that recommends concientious objector
status for persons serving in the military.  But I also know of
preachers (very well known ones too!) that carry a gun even in
church.  My co-sysadm here, Bro. Jerry Caesar, solidified my position
on this subject a year and a half ago.  he said to me, "What are you
going to do?  Hold a gun up to a criminal's head and say 'You are
going to hell, right now!'?"  I had to think only a fraction of a
second to fully understand his point.  When we take another person's
life, and that person is in sin, we cancel the availability of
forgiveness for that person!  No, I do not think I will be working on
amny weapons projects anymore.  I have worked on them in the past :-(
