Bearing Arms

    I know of three situations regarding someone of the UPC carrying a 
weapon. The first was a friend of ours who used to hold a ministerial 
license with the UPC. He was not a pastor but he did preach around. He 
became a police officer in the Bakersfield area and chose to turn in 
his license just because he did not feel right carrying a weapon while 
holding a preacher's license.
   The second was a man in our church years ago who was a police 
officer.
    The third is a man in our church now who is a police officer with 
the Los Angeles Police Department. Of course he has to carry a weapon 
(various weapons) while on duty. 
    I don't know if there is anything in the manual about carring a 
weapon. Maybe someone else can shead some light on that one???
