There are some verses of scripture that I have read that talk about erring
from the truth. I am at my office and do not have my regular Bible or
concordance, so I don' t have scripture references on all of them. However, I
do know that James 5:19-20 says "Brethren, if any of you do err from the
truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner
from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a
multitude of sins."

To me those two verses say that someone who errs from the truth is sinning and
is headed for death. That doesn't sound like unconditional security.

Any comments on that?
