I just read that portion of the Articles of faith and I must say a lot of
our soldiers are in trouble then. A former pastor of mine served in the Golf
War. I believe he was a tank driver. We also have a female MP in our church
who was stationed in Saudi Arabia. There are military churches full of
saints that have a combat MOS, whether it be Artillery, Air-Force or
Infantry. In case of war they will have to serve in that particular area of
combat, if they don't they are in trouble, i.e. they get court-martialed.
Folks, these people are great people living for God and trying to protect
your country and mine for that matter from enemy-forces. Don't look down on
them because they must carry weapons but be proud of them, cause they lay
down their lives so you can enjoy the freedom you have. Also, it says that
the country may be served in non-combat positions. But what about if you are
already in the Army in a combat position and you come to God?=20
>>I would like to know what are the standards of UPC when it comes to
>>bearing of arms/weapons.=20
