Revival and Harvest at Antioch

Praise the Lord everyone.

I would like to share with you what the Lord is doing in Annapolis,
MD.  Bro. Jimmy Hooker is at our church for an extended revival.  We
will probably continue for at least four months - maybe six months - I
hope we go six months.  Bro. Hooker was saved at Antioch and we are
enjoying his preaching.  After these last two weeks I have realized
that I was self-centered and not compassionate.  Bro. Hooker's
preaching outside of church has shown me what a horrible state I was
in.  Wherever he goes he preaches to souls.  At the restaurant,
in the grocery store, on the streets, wherever there are souls he
preaches.

I determined in my mind that that was the kind of preaching I wanted
to do.  You would not believe the joy I have in the Holy Ghost after I
stepped past the barrier of pride and self-importance that was holding
me from speaking to people.  I don't just mean handing them a tract.
I mean asking them about the condition of their soul - have they
considered where they will spend eternity - do they know that there
will be a judgment.  Sure, some people have turned us off.  Most of
the people I have talked to feel the compassion the Lord has for
them and listen.  They are thankful that I took time out of my day
to talk to them about something that means a lot to me.  Of course, I
am just doing the work of the Father.

The end time revival will only happen when we take the demonstration
of the Holy Ghost to the lost.  They don't know the urgency of their
situation.  We should not leave it to them to come to us.  We must go
to them.
