GOD IS FAITHFUL
I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is
common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted
above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to
escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].
There are some mountains that we had best stay off of unless we are very
skilled in climbing mountains. There are some slopes we should not get on
unless we are skilled at skiing. There are some rapids too dangerous for us
unless we are skilled at shooting them.
The Lord is keenly aware of our capabilities in our Christian walk. He
stands guard jealously, prevent any difficulty coming to us which He knows we
are not mature enough in Him to handle.
Believe this! It is true!
We are, almost always, taken by surprise when confronted with testings.
Consider David when the lion came to steal from the flock. It came
unexpectedly, and viciously. But David met it head on, depending on his God
to intervene. The same with the bear. God DID intervene in both cases, and
David's confidence in God grew accordingly. The Spiritual strength gained by
those two experiences gave him confidence to challenge Goliath.
There will be no enemy allowed to attack you whom you can not conquer in
the Name of the Lord.
The secret is that we learn to keep our eyes on the Lord, rather than the
enemy or the problem.
Actually, those problems which the Lord allows, are designed to make us
stronger in the Faith-- NOT to destroy or to hurt us.
When you are in difficulty, LOOK for the WAY of ESCAPE which GOD has
PROVIDED. Keep your eyes on JESUS!
II Corinthians 4:8 [We are] troubled on every side, yet not distressed;
[we are] perplexed, but not in despair; 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken;
cast down, but not destroyed;
