District Council

Praise the Lord everyone!

Just a news brief from the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Dakotas District Council 
of the P.A. of W.:

Though I was not able to attend ANY of the nights, I heard from several 
reliable sources that this meeting was the best in years (say 30 or so)! 
I don't suppose it was the result of a new diocesan bishop since he was 
only installed during this meeting and hasn't really had time to make any 
real changes.

I think the attitudes of the people in the council have changed for the 
better. From what I understand, our district choir has tripled in size, 
and there was more out-of-town representation than there has been in 
years! Maybe I'll be more inclined to make that trip to North Dakota in 
January for the council session!

I think the biggest concentration of our churches is in the Minneapolis 
/St. Paul area followed by Milwaukee. All the other locations have two 
churches at the most. Last count there were 17 in our district (4 
states)...not a very big district at all!

Keep praying for us that we begin to get the results that God is looking 
for from us!
