Seems like I saw it in some war movie or something.
My college World History instructor used the phrase when he referred to
the Crusade when the good soldiers came to the Middle East and killed
everyone in their paths without prejudice: Christian, Jew, or Muslim.
Seemed a rather appropriate application in a grim sort of way.
