I hate it when people quote the "scripture":

"When I think of the Goodness of Jesus,
and all that He's done for me,
 my soul crys out 'hallelujah',
 praise God for saving me!"

Don't people realize that this is not a scripture? It can't even be found in
Pslams or SOS!

Or how about God will cast our sins into the "sea of forgetfulness"...my wife
(before we were married) was testifying and used this "scripture". She was
immediately corrected by the pastor and we had to look the scripture up right
there on the spot....It was a lesson learned in misquoting the scripture.

You'd be surprised at how many messages are preached on misquoted scriptures! We
really need to make sure we get it right when we claim to be "quoting" a
scripture, and not simply trying to get the essence of the thought.
