Susan> Brandon, Those words are beautiful! I have gone over them
Susan> several times this morning, and I was wondering if you
Susan> already have the music (or tune) written as well as the
Susan> words?
Susan> I sing at our church and am musically oriented, so when I
Susan> see words to a song with no notes, I immediately start
Susan> trying to put a tune to them. Would this be set to
Susan> praise-style or country-style music? Slow beat, medium
Susan> beat? Or am I totally off-base and it's faster with a more
Susan> contemporary sound? (I have to admit, I can't imagine
Susan> that!) I would love to hear it!
Susan> God Bless, Susan Lord
I immediatly fitted it to a rather conventional country-ballad style
of melody, but I did not attempt to write the note down :-(
Susan> --------------------------------------
Susan> This is the words so far to a song that I have been working
Susan> on the last few months. I hope the words do speak to your
Susan> heart. Brandon Parker.
Susan> verse 1.
Susan> I've journeyed across lands, as far as the eye could see.
Susan> I've journeyed here and there, not finding what I need.
Susan> but the day I went back, to the little church where I used
Susan> to go. I found Someone waiting, that I'd never met before.
Susan> Chours.
Susan> It was the Savior, From Calvary. He had seen my situation,
Susan> and wanted to intervene. He came down to where I was, and
Susan> gave me joy and tranquility, that is why I praise him, the
Susan> supplier; of my needs.
Susan> That is why I praise him, the supplier; of my needs.
Susan> Copywright 1996.
