[missionary services]
> The jabbering, singing and so on, even the film strips etc...
I actually kind of like special missionary services. They let the
church look into different cultures, and can be educational. But when
I was a kid I was always type who stayed up late to watch National
Geographic specials. I *still* read National Geographic, even reading
the "boring" articles entitled "The History of the St Lawrence
Waterway" or whatnot.

Is this the guy who now pastors the church in Puyallup WA? If so,
this guy is HILARIOUS! Where can these tapes be obtained from?

I understand some of the background concerning why the UPC does the
"deputization" thing, individual church support, etc., but it all seems
so inefficient from a financial and time standpoint. Can this be done
in a better way? I very much enjoy missionary services, but they seem
very hard on the missionaries. Comments?
