AMAN!

Sis Lunsford… you have told the truth!  Sometimes the ONLY way to
survive is to PAY God what belongs to him.  Besides God will get his…
you may pay through a flat tire, sick kid hospital bills…  etc.

I have heard it said… " You cant out-give God but you can’t out squeeze
him either!"  I would much rather have his blessings!

A Short Testimony! One Mo. ago I was in trouble… Big Trouble… Business
was slow.  (I’m in sales)  We did not have the $ for our house payment. 
And we were already a month behind.  It looked bleak! We were getting
Scared!  We just bought our home last Dec. and  love it! (nothing
special but… its ours and not a rental!) I did not even Consider not
paying my tithe’s ( things were bad enough without having God curse my
finances!) it would not have mattered anyway I still needed … a lot!

Then sold a BIG roof! The commission on the sale was enough to pay up
the Mtg. and then some. What relief! I received my commission check on
Saturday Afternoon late.  I had not Gone to the Bank yet I had planed on
going on Monday so I could get Cashiers Checks for our Mtg. Lender.    


But the test of faith came when we took up our Building fund offering….
Sunday Night.

 I still had the Check in my pocket…   Our new church is about ½
Completed and we are trying to pay as much as possible as we go.  As my
wife and I sat there in the service we filled out our offering envelope
for the amount we had talked about and drooped the $100 in the plate…
(at the time we felt it was all we could spare after tithe’s) after the
offering was taken up and taken to the office I kept looking at my wife
and she at me… I told her… "your not going to believe what I feel like
doing"  She started to cry and told me she did not know what I felt but
she defiantly felt we should give the commission check.  That was
exactly what I was feeling.  So… as Crazy as it may sound I took the
check from my wallet signed it and gave it to the usher to add to the
100 we had already Given.  Folks in the world would say… "WE WERE
CRAZY!" I said lets just trust God!

During the last MO (Sept. 1997) I had my biggest Mo.ever on my sales
job… In fact my commissions for last Mo. broke every record the Co.
has…   Without a doubt I made more $ in the Mo. of Sept. that I have
ever made in my life in one mo.! Many of you would not believe amount so
I won’t post it… I'll just say that I can now catch up on the house and
could pay several mo. in advance!  :O)  then again... the Church still
is not finished... 

He is never late… He may not act when we want him to but he is always
right on time!  My Boss keeps asking me what I am doing differently… The
honest answer is nothing… He does not accept.  My answer that I’m just
blessed!… but its true!
