Transgender issues are starting to come to light in the workplace.  To
many people, this is a new aspect of diversity.  What does it mean to
be transgendered?  How are transgender people impacted by the
workplace when they do (or don't) come out?  What about their
coworkers?  What happens when people transition on the job?

This talk, sponsored by EQUAL! to celebrate National Coming Out Day,
will attempt to answer some of the basic questions about transgender
people in the workplace.

Event: Workshop "Understanding Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Issues in the
		 Workplace" featuring Brian McNaught
Date:  Wednesday, October 22

Brian McNaught has an effective approach toward decreasing anxiety,
misunderstanding and hostility in the workplace through the use of
accurate information on the subject of homosexuality and bisexuality.
The effect of the workshop is the creation of a more tolerant work
environment, and a subsequent increase in productivity for heterosexual,
homosexual and bisexual employees.
