Tithes and Church Finance

I have listened to the discussion on tithes and church finance with keen
interest. It should be noted that the "law" of the old testament ended
at the cross - this included tithes, However God gave a new metric to
"Judge" youself by (notice I did not say judge others by) and that is
the New Testament Law of the harvest and, " to him that knoweth to do
good and doeth it not, to him it is sin". It would seem to me that
people who tithe are getting a benifit from God not because they tithe
but because the have the New Testament promise of a harvest for their
sowing. This would mean there is no longer a curse associated with not
titheing. I could go on forever with volumes of research from the Word
of God through the historical record to show how a New Testament Church
should be Financed (it should be financed, there is no reason to starve
the church), but would like to make this offer to preachers and saints
in a jesture to foster further understanding of the Word of God and to
tap into his blessings;
