Sister Louise French passed away Friday Oct 3, 1997 in Soldotna, Alaska.

She and her late husband, Kenneth Wright French, were pioneer Missionaries to
the Alaska Natives, having first gone to Alaska in 1940.

The first work they established was in Sitka.  From there, they branched out
to other islands and villages, until nine or ten works had been established.

Louise was my sister-- for 79 years.  She was over 92 years of age at the
time of her death.

She was born Feb 18, 1905 in Parma, ID. to William and Fannie (Ramsey)
Fretwell-- the third of twelve children.

She received the Holy Ghost in the early twenties at Caldwell, ID.

She and Kenneth were married in 1926.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct 7. in Alaska
