VERY GOOD! However, there is also an area where they are "ALL THE
SAME", but it is all in the same program.

BTW people, this is the famous ADVENTURE program, which was the
*FIRST* computer RPG (Role Playing Game). Zork, and later all the
MUDs, derived from it. The copy of the source code that is on my
system (which Bro. Masoner used to answer this question) dates back to
1977. I first saw it in 1978 or 1979, when I adapted it to work on
the computers made by the company I worked for at the time. A
secretary first called my attention to it. A friend of hers had given
her a tape (1/2 inch 9-track 800 BPI) with the sources on it. She
wanted me to get it working on her terminal.

After I got it up on our machine, a veritable epidemic of adventurers
developed as many people (yours truley included) wasted *HUGE* amounts
of time trying to map out the cave of this game.
