My "problem" is that I have this great system but don't know how
everything
"works" on it yet. I am still in the process of transferring important
programs and files from my Pentium 60 to this one,
Me:
I used to have a copy of Laplink when I worked for that big HUGE ins
company with a rock for a logo. I used my Zenith laptop, to transfer data
from one desktop to the laptop and then to the other laptop. The transfer
was due to a stolen set of data disks. We just copied it to the laptop
and then to the new computer. A pain as then the dll's had to be manually
found and transferred, but quicker than the 3 months it took New Jersey
to send up disks. A serial cable is around 20 bucks and you could
transfer whole directories to the new system. Last I checked the software
is around $50. I bet some one can suggest some shareware to do the file
transfer better.
I wish I had a nice bank job to afford a real computer-toy like yours.
