Me;
Well put and we so often seek "tongues" and not God. We wait to get a
person "speaking in tongues" and we miss out on a bigger blessing. I
worship with the seeker, and in fact our Pastor says NOT to speak in
tongues in the Altar service, worship in a clear voice and have then
worship in a clear strong voice and then the tongues will be loud, clear
and strong.I some times will get the whole church to stop yapping and
start praising in the after service when some one is close. They are
annoying like that.
Works for me so far.

Me:
I have to disagree on this one. If we are praying daily until we speak in
tongues, we are filled. Again, if we are in the Spirit and we are seeking
God and then the tongues come. I have been in the Spirit and spoke in
English what must have been the "utterings and groanings" referred to in
Romans 8. I have prayed in ways that were not me praying and have prayed
for things that I did not know to pray for. And while we are there, there
is not a gift of discernment. It is the discerning of spirits. And there
is no gift of suspicion, although many seem to exhibit its horrid use.
And an open confession, is that I do not pray enough....
