I tend to agree, Peter accepted tongues as proof, but the people were
hearing the Word. I know a few that "speak in tongues" but show no fruit
and this is real confusing to a few people I have talked to.

I would like to relate an incident that I have heard various accounts of
that occured in a Indepentant Apostolic church in this area 20 years
ago, I wonder if anyone else has seen such an incident?

One service a new lady came into the church and sat down. During the
service during a move of the Lord while people praised adn worshiped the
pastor started talking and told the congregation that the new lady was
"of the devil" and asked everyone to start praying to rebuke that
spirit. The lady very calmly picked up her hand bag and left quietly.
She was talking in tongues prior to the pastors request.

Has anyone else heard/seen such an incident?

Lord Bless,
