Some people say:
I praise the Lord that we serve a
>God who can do all things!!!!

Dave:
My prayers go out to the brother who was attacked physically.
I want to say that many people say all the time "God can do all
things." But this is not true. He cannot go against people's will.
For example: God wants everyone to be saved. Is this God's will?
Absolutely. Unfortunately however, not all will be saved. And God
can't do anything about it. So God cannot do all things.

The same with us, His people. I hear many say "I'm just waiting on
the Lord." But this is so selfish. God is waiting on us! He did all He
could do when He came to earth as Jesus Christ. It's up to us now
to apply the Promises of God established in His Word, speak them,
apply them, and we'll see the God of the impossible acting on our
behalf. But to say "God can do all things" is not true.

I know that many who read this will be shocked. But think about it:
If God can do all things, why doesn't He just heal everyone who has
infirmities? When Jesus prayed for people, didn't He always say:
"According to your faith, so be it unto you"? Yes He did. Not even
Jesus could heal all the time because of the doubt and unbelief of the
people. And He was God in the flesh. So I think the proper manner
of saying such a thing would be this: "God can do all things according
to our Faith." He's done all He'll do...Redeeming us from the curse of
the law.
