Hmmm.............remember the analogy of the frog in the boiling water?? 
Another phrase also comes to mind...........*Having a form of Godliness,
but denying the power thereof*  We run into this situation a lot with the
young people.One particular young person tried to convince me that *The
Grateful Dead* (or some such group) had a CD out that was ok to listen to
because on part of one song, they sing *Amazing Grace*.  Gee, that must
make the Devil ok also..........because HE quoted scripture!
