            CARRY UP MY BONES

Genesis 50:24 And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely
visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to
Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Genesis 50:25 And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God
will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.

Hebrews 11:22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of
the  children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.

Here is one of the great examples of FAITH IN THE INTEGTRITY OF GOD which we
find in the Old Testament.

Joseph gave his command about 1700 years BC. The Exodus from Egypt was
somewhere in the time frame of 1500 BC.

Someone had to carry those bones into, and through, the Wilderness
journeyings, and into the Land of Promise.

This takes us into the time frame of 1400 BC-- approximately three hundred
years. Joshua 24:32 And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel
brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which
Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces
of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph.

Four generations of the descendants of Joseph had to take charge of those
bones.

All because Joseph had given a command. Because Joseph had a VISION, Joseph
had FAITH IN GOD. Joseph had seen something which is invisible to the
natural eye.

God had spoken to Joseph through a couple of dreams in his adolescent years,
and the dreams had come to pass. It was a bona fide WORD OF GOD to Joseph,
and he could not allow his bones to remain in Egypt, for God would visit His
People in the Land of Promise. HE KNEW IT, BY FAITH.

I have often wondered if, perchance, those bones of Joseph might have been
the means of a special blessing to the households of those families who were
charged with the keeping of them. Remember the bones of Elisha. There was
still enough of the Power of God in them, that a dead man who was rolled into
his tomb came back to life when his body touched them. He came running back
out of the tomb.

I, too, have a vision of what God has in store for the people called by His
Name. It is not defeat nor intimidation. It is Victory and complete
Ascendancy to Rulership in the earth. NOT BROUGHT ABOUT BY HUMAN ENDEAVOR,
but by the SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD.

The Victory will not come at the time of, nor by the way of, what we call the
Rapture of the Church. That would take the Church OUT OF THE EARTH. I fear
we have greatly misunderstood what the Bible has told us.

But Daniel saw the Church becoming a Kingdom which FILLS THE WOLE EARTH.
Daniel 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the
gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer
threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for
them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled
the whole earth. Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the most High shall take the
kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

I doubt that I will live to see the MIGHTY MOVING OF THE HAND OF GOD in
behalf of the CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM BY FAITH. But I HAVE SEEN IT WITH THE EYE
OF FAITH.

So, "carry my bones." It will surely happen.
