Filled on the Way Out

Just wanted to share something really
neat that happened during our Revival
this weekend. The presence of the Lord
was awesome during the service Sunday
morning. The Evangelist (TJ Johnston) preached
about Prayer and the power we have to prevail
against the Gates of Hell. A visitor was
on her way out of the sanctuary following the
dismissal of service. Our pastor always precedes to
the back of the sanctuary to shake hands with everyone
as they exit to the vestibule. The visitor was standing at
the top of the stairs and was speaking with our
Pastor. He invited her to come back again for
Sunday night services (she usually only attends
Sunday School and goes somewhere else on
Sunday nights). She stated that she wasn't
feeling very well and might be back if she felt
better that evening. Our Pastor asked her if
she would like us to pray for her. She said "yes".
He laid hands on her right there and she
immediately fell to the floor. The Evangelist got
on the floor over her, as did several of the Saints,
and we began to pray for her. It wasn't very long
before she received the Holy Ghost. The Evangelist
asked her if she had spoken words in another language
that she didn't understand. She said "yes". He said
to her "THAT's the Holy Ghost". She answered
incredulously, "It IS?" She had a smile you couldn't
have slapped off her face. She kept repeating
"I feel SO much better" I am sure she did! :-)

That sure is a first for us. Never seen anybody
receive the Holy Ghost on the way OUT of the
church before. Isn't God GREAT!! Hope it happens again,
SOON! BTW, she came to our church last night instead of
going to her trinitarian church.
