Sis Donna saith in her *signature* section of the email post:

>Sis Donna "da Banker" Perine:
>Increase *my* faith, Oh Lord, that all things will be
>>possible in my life.

Then Dave saith:
>Oh no...another sacred cow saying...Sis Donna, why should we
>ask the Lord to "Increase our faith" when we need to use what
>we have? He has given to every man the ":measure of faith"? See
>Romans 12:3.

Yep... I'd have to agree with Bro Dave here.
I think everyone's given a measure of faith to do with
what we will. I think what happens in us shallow humans
is that sometimes we *refuse* to believe God can do the
things he said he can do. God says he can... and we elect
the *choice* of not believing God can do it.

When hands are laid on someone that they might recover,
do we *really* believe down deep in our souls that God will
move on this situation? Or are we just going through a form
of religiosity to satisfy the masses?

When Bro Sampson becomes unemployed, and everyone knows good
well that Bro Sampson isn't reliable when it comes to keeping
a good job, do people pray for the situation to be nice about
it or do they grab a hold of the horns of the altar and ask
God to do something about the situation in fervant prayer?

I think it depends on the *belief* that one has in God. And
how they think God is able to move on the situation. It doesn't
have anything to do with *measure of faith*. But beleif in God.

Now on the other hand... heh, heh, heh... what does that
say to God when we don't believe on him? Is that just like
a child doubting his/her parent? Is that like the child
doubting in the parents so much that it's dangerously close
to calling the parents (or God) a *liar*?
