Regarding semi-closed topics

This is a often quoted verse when referring to weight control. It
correctly quoted is (John 3:30 KJV)  He must increase, but I must
decrease. Not to be straining at a gnat for grammars sake. I agree with
Kathy D also that this was covered to death in the archives. I did not
hear a gavel thump, but this is close to the thump stage and for good
reasons. 
I would have sent this to Bro Tyler privately, but his mail comes back
that he is not found- must have gone home to that OTHER planet. (wonder
how his robot functions while he is gone?)
For the sake of the new persons, and a reminder to the rest, can we have
a one-time list of the closed topics?
