the ability to fulfill every promise in his word to me as well as any of
his children. There have been times I have prayed, fasted, wept, travailed
for a certain soul and have not seen the results as yet. I know the Lord
heard my cries and there are times we dont see what God has done with our
prayer but this I know, He honors his word!! There was a time that My
family and I was flat broke and I owned a gas hog Chevy pick-up truck. We
lived about 44 miles round trip to the Church and it was a Wednesday night
and my truck was on empty. My three boys were getting ready for Church and
even though I knew we had not the gas to make it there and back we headed
out the door anyway. It was mid winter and when I got to the alter I did
some serious praying. My faith was increased while I prayed because I knew
that I was being obedient to the word by not forsaking the assembly of
ourselves together. To make a long story short, I got up and headed to my
pew when a Sister who knew my Mom (she attended the same Church before
moving to Florida) came up to me and said " I received a letter from your
Mom today and she sent you this 20 dollar bill and told me to tell you to
use it for gas!!" Praise God!! My faith then elevated a great deal!! I Love
you all, In Jesus Name
