It's one of the Spiritual gifts.  I think "the gift of suspicion" is
listed in Romans 11:28 and 1 Corinthians 12:34.  Dr Wagner Houts in his
book _Finding Your Spiritual Gifts_ describes the gift of suspicion as
"the special ability to know with assurance that all behavior by other
people is suspect and inspired by Satan, communism, pride, selfishness,
poor manners, global warming, or late night talk shows."

Seriously, it's been mentioned tongue-in-cheek that some people who
have the gift of spiritual discernment might actually have "the gift of
suspicion."  This is not to discount the fact that there are indeed
people who truly are spiritually discerning.
