Regarding semi-closed topics

Tyler and I only shut things down when the discussion becomes a bit
overheated.  This does not "close" the topic forever.  I have some
preferences about things I'd rather not talk about because I know
from experience that (a) tempers can get a bit flared and (b) they
can go on and on without resolution.

If somebody brand-new jumps in and wants discussion on a topic that we
talked about just a couple of weeks ago, Tyler and I will probably
reject that message.

But, there is no "closed-topic" list.  It's all a judgement call,
really.  Asking others to refer to the archives in this "faith/more
faith" thread, as you and others have done, is an appropriate action to
take.
