Dear Brother Matt,
I remember your situation and can appreciate what you did go through and
how you came to be able to rely on Jesus even though things didnt turn out
the way you wanted them too.
(regarding your family).
All I can say is that when everything that can be shaken is shaken Jesus is
the bedrock of our foundation.
When a storm tears our house down (wether spiritual or physical) , the best
thing we can do is to get rid of the debri , clear everything down to the
foundation and build again.
Some peoplpe will get tired of the struggle and move away to a calmer place
, with less turbulence , less strife....
But I remember these words coming back to me which say "Strive to enter
in".....,
"Fight the good fight " , "lay hold on eternal life", "strait is the gate
and narrow the way",

And Pauls words ....."I count it all joy".....The sufferring , the
heartache, we can let nothing move us from our foundation.. Jesus Christ
being the chief cornerstone.

"knowing how to be abased, and how to abound".
The song rings in my heart...
take this whole world and give me Jesus........
So Brother Matt,
Fight the good fight...
and stand upon the firm foundation of Jesus Christ.
For though we understand not, the word still is true ,
"All things work to the good of those that love the Lord "..
and "Your labor is not in vain!"......
May God Bless, Tell the brothers and sisters there we said Hello!
and My regards to the pastor and His wife. : )
May God Bless.
