I have exchanged a few letters with Mr Winter and still am not sure
where he comes from, there will always be that sort of fringe player I
suppose. I agree with the moderators that cooling off periods are
beneficial and at the same time think that in this moderated enviroment
that all topics should be able to be discussed (as the moderators have
said). I realize that some may get heated and I pray that we are mature
enough in the Lord to temper words. I see this list as a chance to
discuss topics with "like minded" Christians to further my
understanding. This is not IMHO a forum for evangelizing or pushing my
beleifs but one for edifing and strengthing.
I pray that all the subscribers appreciate what we have here, cause in
the internet world the Apostolic faith is not mainstream. In fact I have
read many slandereous articles that have us as a brain washing cult! So
to have a haven to exchange ideas in...is a great blessing. I have spent
a great deal of time out in the net looking and chatting/posting and
when I subscribed (and unsubscribed from the others) I felt like a great
peace and rest had come over me.
Lord Bless,
Bill (I surely do love this list and its subscibers) Clifton
