Subject: Revival News from Mexico!!! - OCTOBER

>From the email desk of Superintendent T.Wynn Drost

	* Brother Alex Marquez Sr. is already settled and living in Guadalajara. We
were happy to be with the Marquez in an installation service as the new
Supervisor of that Western District, which encompasses five States on the
Pacific coast of Mexico. They are taking Brother Gary Sones' place in that
District. I believe that it is going to be a great blessing. Also, Brother
Marquez is now on line, his email address is: amarquez@foreigner.class.udg.mx
	* Mark getting a car. After going for over a year without having a car,
Brother Mark Drost (AIMer) was recently blessed when Brother Felps from Baton
Rouge, Louisiana, gave him a car in the States. It is a Mitsubishi jeep
(1989). They are very happy and excited for the way the Lord has provided
them with such a needed tool.
	* Gilbert Morales family involved in a traffic accident. We were very
sorry to find out that Brother Gilbert Morales was involved in a serious
traffic accident, in which, especial his wife, was hurt quite badly - had to
be hospitalized. They were less then a week from heading for Puebla, Mexico,
when it happened, so their departure has been delayed. Brother and Sister
Morales are under AIM appointment to Mexico.
	* The Brent Long family is arriving in Mexico the 16th or 17th of October,
coming as AIMers to be involved in Mexico City. We are happy for their
Ministry and feel they will be a blessing to the Work. They have two small
children. Brother Long was up until recently Brother Jerry Jones Assistant
Pastor in Bridgeton, MO.
	* Church Dedication in Ixmiquilpan. On Saturday, September 6, we had a
Church dedication in Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo. That is the city that Brother
Alex Marquez Sr (Vice President of the UPCM) is originally from. It was a
beautiful service, with 39 receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. There
were a number of visitors from the U.S. - different brethren who have helped
in a special way with the construction of that Church building. Brother
Williams (Arkansas), Brother Cupple (Turlock, California), and Brother Hale
(Denver, Colorado).
	* Juarez, Chihuahua. Missionary D.Clint Downey, Supervisor of the
Chihuahua District, reports that, on the 5th of September they had a Youth
Congress in the border city of Juarez, where there were over 120 youth in
attendance. The service was held in the open air at the site of the new
construction for Brother Robert Robles' Church - our second Church building
in Juarez.
	* Unusual Healing! Brother Mark Drost (AIMer) witnessed a great miracle
recently, We'll have him tell it in his own words: "On September 21st
Brother Chava (a Church member) came to tall me of a 6 year old girl who was
hospitalized and had been there for a month and a half. I went to the
hospital to pray for Viviana and found out that she had not been able to
talk, walk or eat for six weeks. As I walked into the girl's room there was
a doctor there taking notes. I asked him what was the matter with Viviana,
and the doctor told me that she had a new virus called "the crazy virus" (in
Spanish). He explained that this virus literally eats the brain, and he said
there was no medication nor hope for her.
"I told him that I was there to pray and he said that the priests and witch
doctors had already come and they could not do anything. I said, "Doctor, my
God is going to heal this girl and we are going to see the results
immediately!" We started to pray and in a few moments the girl looked at me
and said, "How are you?" The doctor was shocked and asked, "What did she
say?" And the girl repeated it. The doctor said , "This girl has not talked
since she's been in here." I said, "Doctor, God has performed a miracle!"
Two days later she was released from the hospital. She is now walking and
talking . To God be the glory!"
	* Toluca, Mexico. Brother Gerald Guevara is the Pastor of a growing Church
in the city of Toluca. They recently celebrated anniversary services and
were happy to have Brother Roland Baker from Pontiac, Michigan, preaching
there. The services were a great blessing.
Brother Guevara reports a beautiful miracles that took place recently.
Brother Lara's father (a member of the local Church) was hit by a passenger
bus, while riding on his bicycle and was thrown many feet by the bus. The
ambulance was called and took him to the emergency, very badly hurt, with a
fractured pelvis and right leg. After all the x-rays he was transferred to
the social security hospital to be operated on. He was there for a couple of
days under observation. On Sunday, the 21st of September, the Church was
praying for him. Just before operating on him that Monday, the doctors
decided to take some more x-rays, and were stunned to find that there were no
more fractures - nowhere! The following day he was released from the
hospital!!! When Brother Guevara went to visit him in his home, with tears
in his eyes, he told him how he had been in such pain, couldn't sleep. But,
Sunday morning, he doesn't know if it was a dream or a vision, he felt when
hand touched his right leg and waist area, and he heard a voice say, "you are
healed," and he fell asleep. They still have the x-rays and the doctor's
written report of the fractured condition. Isn't God good!
