I AM A PRAYER

I am not God
I cannot save others
I cannot save myself
I cannot deliver
I cannot heal
I am insufficient
And I miss the mark
I am a prayer

I am needy
I am incomplete
I come short of glory
I am not perfect
I cannot change the day or night
I cannot grasp tomorrow
Or go back to yesterday
I am not God
But I know who is
