I think they were using the phrase to mean a scientist who is a
Christian, which is somethinbg altogether different from a Christian
Scientist.  The semantic overloading is unfortunate; I agree that a
different phrase should be uses, and I hereby propose "scientific
Christian" as the term to describe the non-cult member.  I also has
the advantage over "Christian scientist" of placing the emphasis on
the Christinan component rather than the scientist component.
