I will take a stab at it, using the old weatherbeaten spirit/flesh
dichotomy: Since the lamb was slain, it was flesh -- a body.  Since
the only body Christ has on earth now is the church...  Well, you can
see where this is heading.  Just a stab, now, no research done for
this!
