It is an implied statement. Based on all matter being compressed into
one "small" ball at the center of the universe, something causing an
explosion sending the fragments in all directions. Thereby causing the
universe as we know it. Combine that with Gen 1:1&2, Pslm 68:8 and not
having the faith to be an atheist.
As written in KJV.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was]
upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of
the waters.
Psalms 68:8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of
God: [even] Sinai itself [was moved] at the presence of God, the God of
Israel.
As written in GMRIII translation.
Gen 1:1 & 2 At the center of nothing God made a ball from nothing. Then
he said BANG. The ball blew up making the heaven and earth. Since the
explosion was rather large the earth was without form. Do to the nature
of an explosion the blast flash was gone so the earth was dark...
Since the Bible doesn't explicitly say how the earth was made (ref Gen
1:1) I found a translation that answers the questions who, what, when,
where, why, and how.
The Ananias and Saphirra account in Acts shows Peter did all the
speaking, with Ananias' and Saphirra's deaths coming as he spoke. Now
God may have said "Come" to their souls, but bang wouldn't have been a
likely choice. I haven't either seen or heard the "Bang your dead"
theory of Ananias and Saphirra's deaths :) <= note - but I have seen the
Big Bang theory of creation. You see if the Big Bang group would listen
to me the questions of where did the big ball in the center orginate and
what(or who) caused the Big Bang.
Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to
lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back [part] of the price of the land?
Acts 5:4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was
sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing
in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
Acts 5:5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the
ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things... his
wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
Acts 5:8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land
for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
Acts 5:9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed
together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which
have buried thy husband [are] at the door, and shall carry thee out.
Acts 5:10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the
ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying
[her] forth, buried [her] by her husband.

In the begining God said BANG! and it was BIG (of course God could have
said explode now in a still small voice and the resulting Bang would
have still been big)
