                    EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW

Quite often we hear people make remarks that indicate they are discouraged
with the trends of the world. Seems that everything is out of synk-- "going
to hell in a hand basket". We have heard so much of it for so long a time,
that it has affected our thinking. Many Christians are depressed and scared.

They need not be filled with gloom and despair. Our God knew all about the
conditions we are facing, before the world ws even formed. He was in control
then, and He is still in absolute control today. He knew what man, whom He
created and put on the earth, would do. He has granted them permission to do
anything that they want to do-- knowing that He will have the last word in
everything.

Ecclesiastes 11:9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart
cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and
in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these [things] God
will bring thee into judgment.

Men live, a given number of years on earth. God was alive then-- He is alive
today. Thousands of years and hundreds of generations have not altered Him
one bit. He remains, while all of His foes have lived their lives, and
passed on into oblivion.

Most all of the schemes and plans of men have come to nought, but the Plan Of
God continues on, undaunted by the best efforts of man to discredit Him and
His Workings.

He didn't ask our advice when He created all that was created. He didn't
question us about how He should conduct the affairs of humanity. His
judgments are unsearchable. His ways are past finding out.

He said: Numbers 14:21 But [as] truly [as] I live, all the earth shall be
filled with the glory of the LORD.

If we say that we do not believe the Word of God-- that makes no difference
to Him. Our disbelief can not change His decree.

Romans 14:11 For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall
bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

No one will be exempt, nor shall any one skirt the issue when they stand
before God

Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Ecclesiastes 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every
secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether [it be] evil.

We can face the Lord in confidence on that day if we have followed a few
simple steps of preparation while we are living our allotted time here on His
Footstool.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved.

Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a
name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should
bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the
earth; And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Who is on the Lord's side?
