| My Response:
|
| When God responded to Moses' request to "see His glory," by stating
that
He would
| allow him to "see my hinder parts," this WAS NOT referring to a
visible
| manifestation of God [a "theophany"], OR any part of Him.
| Lest we forget, when Moses conducted this conversation with God, there
was NO
| written record of God's Word. Therefore, when God granted Moses'
request, He
<snip>
|
| Thus we see that what God allowed Moses to "see" was His "glory," and
not
some
| visible manifestation of Himself.
|
| At least this is the manner in which I have interpreted these
passages,
and offer
| them here for consideration and comment.

Me:

That was a nice discourse, Bro. Donald, but I think Bro.Robert was just
making a little joke. I seriously doubt anyone thought that was
supposed
to be a theological statement. Did you notice the "smiley face" ** :)

Moses was allowed to see where G-d was, he did not see a theopheny, a
theopheny is a complete form as an angel. Moses request was answered in
its fullness when the transfiguration took place see Matthew 17:1-8.
This is the longest prayer request in the bible. Peter answered
Yehoshuha question see Matthew 16:13, Moses saw the cliff of the rock
peter saw the rock. lets discuss this, if you can. Shalom!
