A Mensa Problem

This is actually a famous question from the ancient Greek philosophers
-- Aristotle, I think. It is called the liars problem, or sometimes
the Cretan problem, after the scriptural reference by Paul to the
Cretans. Too bad I don't remember the answer, and don't have time
right now to think about it.
