The discussion was about the revelation of One God. Jews know there is
only one God, they must realize Jesus was the Messiah - that is what was
revealed to Peter.
As Bro Brown (RJ) stated, from a logical view point there can be only
one God, else he isn't supreme, so he ain't God.
