Revelation is a MUST?

YOU:
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon
Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not *revealed* it unto thee, but my
Father which is in heaven. Peter was a Jew, and it came to him by
revelation just like it did to Sister Rachel.
ME:
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL. That is really splitting hairs and adding more
to the Oneness of God than what is there. You are now requiring that
everyone receive a revelation from God explaining Himself.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all
ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in
unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is
manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the
invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly
seen, being understood by the things that are made, **even his
eternal power and Godhead**; so that they are without excuse:
So, even the heavens bear witness of the Godhead. If it is so simply
and clearly seen, then why must we all have a revelation? So, what
did Jesus mean by this word "Revelation"? (I don't have my Strong's
handy, so I am using discernment and deduction...forgive me). How is
ANYTHING revealed to a person? By that person UNDERSTANDING the
concept, or being able to understand the information given. So, the
Father revealed the mystery of the Godhead to Peter in the Son--the
man, Jesus Christ. God bless!
